The Cameron County Chamber of Commerce puts on this small fall ultra in one of the least populated corners of Pennsylvania. The 50K starts and finishes in Emporium and travels through the Elk State Forest in the heart of the PA Wilds, with 25K and 12K races and a 50K relay rounding out the morning.
Course
The route mixes rail trail, dirt forest road, and trail through the Elk State Forest. It is not a closed course, so runners share the roads with occasional vehicles. Aid stations sit along the way, and the day starts and ends in Emporium with food at the finish.
