About the Saddleback Marathon
This long-running Southern California trail marathon now uses a post-fire Black Star Canyon venue. The current Silverado location replaces older Lake Elsinore geography and shapes the full's updated identity.

The rerouted marathon gains roughly 4,244 feet from Black Star Canyon toward Skyline Drive. Long exposed climbs, rugged surface and technical descents make it a mountain effort rather than a road qualifier.
