About the REVEL Reno Tahoe
REVEL Reno Tahoe brings the REVEL downhill format to northern Nevada, using a point-to-point route from the Mt. Rose area to Reno.
Course
The marathon starts at Mt. Rose Summit and drops toward the Reno Sparks Convention Center. The route is built for speed, but the sustained descent still asks runners to manage their quads and early pacing.
Race-day weather
Expect a cold mountain start and a warmer finish in Reno. REVEL's own race information notes a large temperature difference between Mt. Rose Summit and town.
