About the New Hampshire Marathon
Based in Bristol, the New Hampshire Marathon is a traditional New England road race with a modest field. Lake views and early-October foliage make scenery a major draw.
Course
The certified loop follows rolling roads around Newfound Lake and through nearby communities. Sustained climbs and descents make it a strength course rather than an easy qualifier.
Race-day weather
Early October can be crisp and ideal, but rain, wind off the lake, or a warm sunny afternoon are possible. Temperatures vary between shaded and exposed roads.
