About the Never Summer 100K

Never Summer 100K is Gnar Runners' long-course mountain race in northern Colorado. It is separately started and scored from the 60K, with its own 325-runner cap, cutoff and overnight finish.

Course

The 65.7-mile route climbs about 14,500 feet between 8,450 and 11,852 feet. High ridges, two alpine peaks, four lakes, mud, rock and rough trail make it a true mountain course.

Race-day weather

High-country weather can move quickly from strong sun to cold rain, wind or hail. Large elevation and temperature swings make waterproof layers and overnight lighting essential.
