About the Monschau Marathon
The long-running event fills a three-day weekend with numerous endurance products. The standard marathon is separate from K56, K70, Genuss-Marathon, relay and Saturday competitions.
Course
The full marathon climbs and descends through wooded Eifel terrain on forest roads and country lanes. Elevation and changing surfaces make the route more demanding than a typical urban road race.
Race-day weather
August in the Eifel may be pleasantly mild, hot and sunny, or interrupted by rain. Forest shade cools parts of the course, while humid climbs can still build heat.
