Mizuno Swansea Half Marathon

A flagship road race for South Wales, the Swansea Half combines city access with a long sweep of coast. The straightforward event format, strong local turnout, and realistic personal-best potential make it useful beyond its scenic appeal.

The out-and-back-style route leaves Swansea's waterfront, follows the bay toward Mumbles, and returns to the city finish. Elevation is modest, but exposed coastal wind can turn the same flat roads into a tactical challenge.

June is usually mild, with rain and coastal wind more likely to affect pacing than temperature alone. On clear days, the open bay section can also bring sustained sun exposure.
