About the GetPRO Bath Half
First held in 1982, the Bath Half is one of Britain’s best-known mass-participation halves and a major charity fundraiser. The event balances a competitive front end with the atmosphere and support expected from a large city race.
Course
The traffic-free route starts by Royal Victoria Park and uses two circuits through Bath, including a one-time section on Pulteney Road and Great Pulteney Street. It is described as fast and flat, with music and spectators throughout the central-city course.
Race-day weather
March in Bath is often cool and can be wet or breezy. The looped layout simplifies pacing, but damp roads and changing wind direction can still affect a time goal.
