About the Life Time Chicago Half Marathon
This is Chicago’s established autumn half rather than a secondary distance on the city marathon weekend. Its stand-alone field and Lake Shore Drive access make it a useful tune-up race with a strong local identity.
Course
The out-and-back course starts in Jackson Park, heads north beside Lake Michigan and returns on South Lake Shore Drive. Hyde Park, Kenwood, the Museum of Science and Industry and the Statue of the Republic give the flat route a clear South Side character.
