About the Kitakyushu Marathon
The municipal race brings a five-figure marathon field to northern Kyushu. A point-to-point layout connects Kokura's civic center with a finish near the international conference complex.
Course
The certified route starts outside Kitakyushu City Hall and finishes near Kitakyushu International Conference Center. Bridge approaches and waterfront wind shape the later miles.
Race-day weather
Winter conditions are cool, with rain and strong coastal wind both possible. Exposed port sections may feel much colder than sheltered city streets.
