About the Kagoshima Marathon

Course
The out-and-back road route uses central Kagoshima and the coastal corridor toward Aira. Gentle undulations, turns, and sustained exposure beside Kinko Bay accumulate gradually.
Race-day weather
Early March is usually cool to mild, but rain and coastal wind are possible. Volcanic ash from Sakurajima is an unusual regional variable.
