About the Istria 100 Mile
The Istria 168K is the 100-mile-category race at Istria by UTMB, with a separately announced 2027 start and registration. Its route spans the peninsula from east to west.
Course
The 168-kilometre point-to-point route climbs Učka, passes Buzet and medieval inland towns, and finishes in Umag. Technical rock and about 6,800 metres of gain drive difficulty.
Race-day weather
Early April may bring mild coastal air, cold mountain rain, wind or mud. The 45-hour window exposes runners to two nights and large changes across the peninsula.
