About the HURT 100
HURT is a lottery-entry 100-miler run by the Hawaii Ultra Running Team on the Honolulu Mauka Trail System above the city.
Course
The 2026 route used a short lower loop followed by five revised HURT loops. Nearly all of the course is technical singletrack with roots, rocks, mud, steep grades, and stream crossings.
Race-day weather
January can feel warm and humid even when temperatures are moderate. Rainforest showers can quickly turn clay, roots, and stream crossings slick.
