About the HOKA Semi de Paris

The HOKA Semi de Paris is one of the world's largest standalone half marathons. It fills central Paris with a broad international field and enough depth for almost any runner to find company at goal pace. The same scale creates its main drawback: entry sells quickly, corrals are dense, and pre-race movement takes time.

Course

The half starts on Boulevard Saint-Germain, moves through central and eastern Paris, and finishes at Place de la Bastille. The route is road-based and generally quick, with long sections where rhythm is possible. Wave congestion and repeated turns around landmarks can make the opening feel slower than the profile suggests.

Race-day weather

Early March can bring ideal cool racing air, cold rain, or a sharp breeze along open streets. Runners should pack for wet conditions and avoid overdressing once inside a crowded wave. A cool start can still turn mild by the Bastille finish.
