About the Health First Florida Marathon
Formerly known as the Publix Florida Marathon, this Space Coast weekend now carries Health First branding. The full marathon rejoins a program that also includes a half, 5-mile race, and 5K.
Course
The paved route uses Melbourne's riverfront roads and bridge crossings over the Indian River Lagoon. The bridges provide the principal climbs, while long open stretches make wind direction important.
Race-day weather
February is among coastal Florida's better running months, but humidity and sun can build quickly. Wind over the causeways may be more decisive than temperature.
