Course
The race starts on Avenida de la Estación in central Alicante and heads south past El Palmeral, Urbanova and Arenales del Sol. It continues along the coast by Carabassí and the Santa Pola lighthouse before finishing at Varadero Beach. The sea stays close for much of the route, leaving runners exposed to wind.
