About the MEIN FREIBURG MARATHON
The marathon is the full-distance option within Freiburg's music-filled spring running festival. Bands along the route and a shared event center give the weekend a celebratory feel.
Course
Runners complete two 21.1-kilometer city laps through central and residential Freiburg. Repeated turns and the second circuit are more significant than major climbing.
Race-day weather
Early April can be cool and ideal, but rain, wind, or surprisingly warm sun are possible near the Black Forest. Second-lap temperatures may rise noticeably.
