The ET Full Moon 51K turns a remote Nevada highway into an overnight ultra. Its Area 51 theme is playful, but the high-desert setting, elevation and late start make the race a genuine logistical challenge.
Course
The paved highway course runs near Rachel at roughly 4,000 to 5,600 feet. Long open stretches, limited landmarks and darkness reward a controlled effort and careful attention to lighting.
