About the Eifelmarathon
Waxweiler hosts this German countryside marathon as the centerpiece of a multi-distance festival. The compact official spelling is Eifelmarathon, while the separate Wandermarathon is a roughly 30 km walking event.
Course
The full marathon travels through the rolling Eifel landscape on a road-oriented route with rural elevation changes. It shares the event base with trail and ultra races but remains its own measured distance.
