About the Duke City Marathon
New Mexico's long-running Duke City event brings a full marathon and shorter races to Albuquerque each fall. The river corridor keeps the route scenic while the city's altitude adds a real test.
Course
The certified course uses paved roads and multi-use paths through the Rio Grande bosque. It is not mountainous, but Albuquerque's elevation and exposed sections can make the effort deceptive.
