About the Creve Coeur St. Paddy's Half Marathon
All Community Events has held this one in Creve Coeur Park, west of St. Louis, for about a decade. Everything runs on park trail, which removes road closures from the equation and makes the race an easy early-season checkpoint for runners building toward a spring marathon.
Course
All distances stay on paved park trails around Creve Coeur Lake, so there is no traffic and nothing to cross. The loop is mostly flat with a few short rises, and spectators can reach several points along the water without moving a car.
Race-day weather
Mid-March in eastern Missouri swings widely. A start in the 30s or 40s is common, wind across the open lake is likely, and the same day can turn mild before the last finishers come through.
