About the Back Your Badge Marathon
Plainfield's public-safety theme is embedded in both the course and the event mission. The smaller Indiana marathon offers a certified full, a generous cutoff and a direct connection to local first responders.

The road layout is flat and certified, with the route passing police, fire and related facilities around Plainfield. A seven-hour limit makes the full accessible beyond the usual qualifier crowd.
