About the Steamboat Marathon
Steamboat's long-running destination race keeps a small-town feel while drawing runners to northern Colorado. The full field is capped below the half marathon.
Course
The point-to-point course starts at Hahn's Peak Village and follows Routt County Road 129 to downtown Steamboat Springs. Net descent is interrupted by persistent rollers.

June mornings begin cold at altitude and may warm quickly in the valley. Sun, wind, rain, and thin air all influence the exposed ranch-road course.
