About the Peak District Challenge Gold Ultra 100K
The Gold Ultra is the 100K option within the Peak District Challenge. Runners and fast hikers manage their own navigation between checkpoints, making route judgment and sustained movement as important as conventional race speed.
Course
The circular challenge moves between Dark Peak valleys and higher White Peak trails with about 3,200 meters of ascent. Entrants carry navigation responsibility while GPS tracking lets race headquarters monitor progress.
