About the PBG Satara Hill Half Marathon
Satara's community-organized half marathon is one of India's larger races at the distance. Its identity comes from the Yawateshwar climb, a volunteer-led production and a field built around hill running rather than personal-best pacing.
Course
The 21.0975 km out-and-back begins in Satara, rolls through the opening city section, then climbs continuously toward Yawateshwar Hill. The turnaround comes near the summit before runners descend the same mountain road. The organizer lists 434 meters of total elevation gain.
