About the Oysho Royal Parks Half Marathon
Standard entry runs through a ballot, while charity places are the practical alternative after it closes. That entry model fits an event built around fundraising and the Royal Parks themselves.

The one-lap course starts in Hyde Park, reaches The Mall, Buckingham Palace, Big Ben and Horse Guards Parade, then returns through four Royal Parks. It is generally flat with gentle undulations and finishes in Kensington Gardens near the Royal Albert Hall.
Race-day weather
Mid-October often brings cool racing temperatures, but rain, wet leaves and a light breeze are common possibilities. Park sections can feel sheltered while the central-road miles are more exposed.
