About the OAT Run 50K
Olympic Adventure Trail gives this 50K a distinctly Pacific Northwest setting. The small field and singletrack focus suit runners who value forest immersion and a lower-key event over a crowded festival.
Course
The 50K runs out and back over Kelly Ridge on singletrack between Olympic National Park and the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Moss, roots, ferns and sustained trail concentration define the day more than raw speed.
Race-day weather
April on the Olympic Peninsula can be cool and wet, with mud under dense forest cover. Conditions may shift quickly near exposed ridge views and the Elwha River Valley.
