About the Manavgat Backyard Ultra
Manavgat Backyard Ultra brings the backyard format to the Titreyengöl area near Türkiye's Mediterranean coast. The race base sits at Lake & River Side Hotel, with organizer guidance for nearby accommodation, camping, and caravans. The same loop is used through daylight and darkness until one runner remains.
Course
A 6.706 km loop starts every hour and mixes firm sand, dirt tracks, pine forest, and short asphalt sections. Some roads remain open to traffic, and runners repeat the same marked circuit by day and night. Anyone who misses the next hourly start is eliminated, with the event continuing until a single runner completes one final loop alone.
Race-day weather
Late October on the Antalya coast is usually mild to warm by day and cooler overnight. After dark, rising humidity and falling temperatures can make the repeated loop feel very different from the opening hours.
