About the Langkawi International Half Marathon
Langkawi International Half Marathon is a dedicated 21K rather than a bundled distance, with an island field capped at several thousand runners.
Course
The race is based at Mahsuri International Exhibition Centre and reaches paddy-field roads beyond the venue. Flat terrain does not remove the climate challenge.
Race-day weather
Langkawi remains hot and humid in December, with rain still possible. The early start helps, but heat management matters from the opening miles.
