About the GENERALI BERLIN HALF MARATHON

Berlin combines one of Europe’s deepest half-marathon fields with a course built for speed. Entry is allocated through a lottery, and the large field gives the event a major-championship feel from the Straße des 17. Juni start.

Course

The flat city circuit starts between the Brandenburg Gate and Victory Column and threads past central Berlin landmarks before returning to the same broad boulevard. Few hills interrupt rhythm, though turns and field density make good corral placement valuable.

Race-day weather

Early spring in Berlin can be cold, mild, windy, or wet. The flat route remains quick in most conditions, but exposed boulevards can make wind more important than elevation.
