Quick facts
- Roads stay closed to traffic only until 1 p.m. and reopen progressively before that, so plan a finish well inside that window.
- Race kits are handed out only on the Friday and Saturday before the race at Parque Estadio Nacional; there is no race-day pickup.

Course
The 42K and 21K start together at 6:45 a.m. from Estadio Nacional and finish inside the stadium grounds. Marathoners run the circuit twice: out along Avenida Grecia to a turnaround at Avenida Matta, then south down Avenida José Pedro Alessandri to Avenida Escuela Agrícola, back up Avenida Marathón to a turn at Rodrigo de Araya, and around Parque Estadio Nacional. The official profile stays between 554 and 578 meters above sea level, so the climbing comes in gentle rises. Hydration, medical and toilet points sit along the route, with fruit near the stadium.
Race-day weather
Mid-November is late spring in Santiago, usually dry with cool early mornings that warm quickly under strong sun. The early start helps, but the second lap can feel noticeably warmer than the first, so sunscreen and steady drinking pay off.
About the Fedachi Marathon
The Federación Atlética de Chile organizes this race with producer Agencia Menta to give Chilean and international athletes a fast place to chase marks. For its 2026 edition it hosts the South American Championships in all four distances, and the federation says each course is measured to World Athletics standards so times count toward world rankings. The marathon pays CLP 2,500,000 to the men's and women's winners, with a national-record bonus for Chilean runners. The event caps entries at 12,000 across the 42K, 21K, 10K and 5K.
