Course

The point-to-point course starts near Champions Square, crosses central neighborhoods and the French Quarter area, then follows Lake Pontchartrain before finishing in City Park. Published elevation is modest.

Race-day weather

Late February in New Orleans is often mild and humid, with rain and lake wind possible. A warm day can become challenging on the exposed northern section.
